I submitted work to Art Comes Alive 2015 in Cincinnati,the pleated vessel was accepted and on June 20 at the Opening it was announced that it had won the Brentwood Art Exchange Excellence in Fine Craft Award. It was announced in Washington on Jan17 at the American Made Show that my Vessel was a Winner of a 2015 Niche Award in the Fabricated Metal category! This was absolutely wonderful news, especially since I won the same award in 2014 with a different vessel.Thanks to the Rosen Group for establishing this Award in 1989 for Fine Craft Artists. It has been a huge encouragement for me.
My vessel is a 2015 Niche Award Finalist,in the Fabricated Metal category. The winners will be announced in January, in Washington at the American Made Show.The vessel is woven on a loom with coloured copper wire,and is 13.5 x 8 x 7" in size.
